Great event last week at work meant I had the opportunity to interview Team GB star Jessica Ennis. I could definitely see why she’s rapidly become the nation’s icon, oozed class and is genuinely very down to earth making as much time as she could for everyone. Full event write up done by the top Karen Johnson at the Chesterfield Post here
Stunning day at Bolsover Castle where Simon and Kelly tied the knot at a gorgeous ceremony. Probably the most I’ve ever eaten at a wedding, and all of it nice! Some great speeches too, including a best man’s speech that presented photographic evidence of all of Simon’s impressive haircuts throughout his school days 🙂
They’re a great couple and I wish them all the luck and happiness for the future.

Just a few selected shots from a wonderful day at Bolsover castle when Simon and Kelly (lovely couple) tied the knot. Now working on a video for them and will upload as soon as the edit’s finished.
Had a great time at Ringwood Hall this week when photographing the Childcare department of Chesterfield College on their awards evening. For once the rain held off so everybody got to enjoy the grounds of such a lovely venue.
Yeah it’s a bit cheesy in the way it’s set up but I found this HDR discussion to be pretty useful in all fairness. Going to be trying some HDR shots in the very near future so stay tuned
Out snapping some sunset shots the other day when some (very) curious horses decide to join me. They were a right set of posers so just thought I’d take advantage and practice some wildlife photography. Especially love the shot of the horse’s eye, the colours came out beautifully.
Great changes of speed, clarity of shot and subject, just a 10/10 video sequence
